This is the last PES game i'm buying, the lag online is really doing my nut in i can't even finnish a game due to it winding me up and not being fun at all.

single player started off well but i dont seem to enjoy it as much as PES5 cant see myself being sat here for hours on end playing master league.

PES5 SP = Fantastic
PES6 MP = Fantastic

PES7 ... It lacks so much :( need a new football game!

Once the lag is sorted it will be awesome.

And this could have gone in the official thread.

My friend who's worked in game retail for 5 years said she's never had a game returned so much as PES2008 and this is without knowing my thoughts on it. She just told me by way of conversation.

PES2008 has started off exactly the same as PES6. PES6 suffered from online lag and it took Konami 6 weeks to release a patch that did fix it. Dont worry it will get better.

I don't think it's just the lag that's causing people to return the game. I've played a lot of multiplayer offline with mates so I've had a chance to see what the game's like with smooth gameplay, it just doesn't have the addiction factor that PES6 had. I must have played close to 50 games as well so i've played it enough to make a judgement.

I would much rather played PES6 any day of the week.

I never even got to the point of experiencing the lag, the game itself is just average regardless, and average isn't good enough for Pro Evo imo.

It does go to show how strong a name Pro Evo has built for itself over the years that so many people are prepared to soldier on and hope it improves, when lesser games would be dumped within an hour if they played as badly.

Try FIFA, a great alternative. Loving it.

What retail shop allows people to return games?

Whilst I agree with your question, the competitors rule will stop you getting an honest answer. But your question has made me think, as the one big place that used to let you return stuff, stopped a while ago due to abuse.

Yeah I know he can't name them, but as you say the only places that ever did it stopped it a long time ago, I can't think of any place that will let someone return a game these days.

Goalkeepers, Manual Player Selection. Crowd at the start of a match are wearing shorts and boots. No backheel.

Apart from that i dont mind it.
