quick photoshop question

i have a layer
i'm going to

filter > render> cloud effect

but because the image i'm working on is huge, it's making the cloud effect very small and looks messy
but i can't find anywhere to change the cloud size? i want gentle, soft clouds

help!

One thing you could try is open up a new file which is smaller canvas.
Do render clouds on that, then copy the layer over to your file and transform it to resize the clouds to how big you want them. might be a bit hit and miss tho...

otherwise, have a search "cloud textures" on google brings up a lot of hits
