Quick poll BF2 Joystick or Keyboard

Chopper you need a mouse but planes need quick and extreme movement on the axises so it has to be a joystick. Unfortunately Im only any good with the chopper on a mouse, still havent made much progress with a plane on joystick - theres not as much 'feel' to it
 
Keyboard and Mouse for me. When I 1st got BF2 I tried using Joypad for Choppers and Jets, and I couldn't use it and put me off from flying them.
