quick portable apps question.

is it ok to run them from an mp3 player (i have a sansa clip). or should i fork out for a proper usb stick instead?

will be fine, assuming the sansa clip can be seen as a mass storage device

yup, it's set as a usb device. because i'm stuck using pcs in my local library which are heavily locked down and run IE6

eek: ), i didn't think the installer for firefox portable would run.... but it did and it works fine. now i can browse the web properly. :cool:

i'm doing ok thanks. just had to sell my pc before christmas because no job, money etc blah blah.

anyway, not having 24/7 internet access is a good thing i think. i used to spend far too much time on here......
