Heyas all, justa quick query as I'm doing something I've not done before and don't wanna make a mistake and make things harder!

I have my 300gb drive as c: d: and e: C is windows xp, d is vista, and e is storage, have now bought a 30gb SSD and want to install on that, I'll primarily use it for XP, and maybe put 7 on the d partition in the end, as I'll probably stick with xp for 90% of the time, just feels right still!

My quetion is, how to do things, for now I want to keep xp where it is, as well as installing it on the SSD as I have so much crap I need to organise, but for now i really want:

C: xp (SATA port 0)
d: vista
e: storage
ssd: xp (Booting) (Sata port 2)

Once I have it all cleared I'll merge c and d (Whats the best way to do that? delete both partitions and make one logical partition from the space?) and put 7 on that as a dual boot with xp again.

Does this all sound feasbale? Cause the last thing I wanna do is not be able to boot either xp partition and bugger it all up!

Any ideas? :D

Yeah, thats actually the sanity inducing slap that I need :)

SSD to sata 0, install OS, copy what else I need, format what was c/d, merge and go from there, sorted.

Thankyou sir, sometimes it really DOES take others to state the blatently obvious! lol
