Hey guys,

Im sure this is a problem that could be solved quickly...I just cant figure it out. If thisis in the wrong place then my apologies.

Basically on my laptop I had three partions, with Windows installed in the C drive partion...Yesterday I installed windows Xp home instead of the media centre it was using....What I wanted was no partions and just one whole drive....So I ended up putting Windows xp home on the largest partion as it was empty...Deleted everything on the smaller partion...then ws left with the C drive, which I cant delete...

So basically...how I delete the C drive, and turn the drive into a single partion?

Thanks guys

So will partion magic enable me to clear the two partions that the new install isnt on? Including the C drive which has the old windows install and combine them all into one drive???

If so, where do I get partion magic from?

I dont really wanna pay £40 for partition magic for something Im only gonna use once....are there any other ideas on how to solve this? I still havent been able to delete the C drive no matter what I do to it??

Thank guys

That was my original plan, but wen I did it the option to delete all partions wasnt there....and when I tried to delete the C partition the first time around I couldnt as it had temp files for the install on or something...If I do it this time, will it work?
