Quick PS3 Question (Blu-Ray)

Hey guys

Real nice quick and simple question for you, did post it in another thread but went un-answered

Can a european PS3 play american blu-ray dvds

300 is out over there in a few days, and it's not out over here until October, no way am I waiting until then to see it again in full 1080p goodness...unless I have to

Lock once answered if you like mods

Some BD's are region free, even though they state the region on the packaging. There's a website with a full list somewhere on t'internet of films which play in different regions - do a google search or maybe some kind person will pop a link on below my post

Not sure if these are competitor's but they have been posted here before?

Movietime.com lists all region free films, and I use Axelmusic.com for all my imports, there cheap & fast

Just ordered Bridge to Tereabithia from them for £16 inc, which also isn't out until later this year over here.

Damn right, I have the 300 sat right here beside me. Got it for £14 from the above website. Got the darkness from there aswell, very highly recommended!

Quality of the 300 is immense.

This website has a list of most Blu-rays released so far and tells you whther they are region free or not. According to them, 80% of Blu-rays are region free!
