quick psn question

if i sell a ps3,can the person who buys it link their psn account to that ps3 ?
its not tied to one psn account?

just been asked by a potential buyer and i really dont know the answer

I bought a 2nd hand one a few months ago & had no problem at all registering a new account on it & playing online, It was that good I traded it in for a 160 slim.
S'pose the only thing you'd have to watch out for is a Black listed PS3 but if you know it's sound then passing it on shouldn't be an issue.

oh its not black listed
its mine and it must have seen no more tha 8 hours of play since i bought new last month

can you also log into other psn accounts too

ie, log into mine, log out and log in on family members psn account ?

Yes, I do that between PS3s.

Keep in mind Sony recently lowered the amount of consoles that can have PSN content (e.g. PSN Games) to 2 PS3s if purchased after November.

They can if you don't delete the profile off of the system .

You can deactivate a console though so he'd still have his two devices free.
