I`m looking for a PSU to replace one that has blown at work (IT are not qualified for such things). The machine is an older P4 unit that uses 3 points for power - the standard ATX and small head (4?) connectors, but also an 8 pin single line flat connector. I`m not sure of the correct description to locate the appropriate product on the web, and so was looking for help....

Cheers.

I'm not entirely sure because I'm not on my PC but I think that my X-Pro 400w has this connector(looks a bit like one half of the old AT connectors?) and most PSUs should have them I believe if it was part of the ATX standard, sorry I can't help more.

Bit like the old ATs, yes.

The new PSU that I was offered did not have this connector. Have tracked down a Sparkle that does and told them to pay the extra.

Thanks for the help.
