Most cases have a fixed way that you have to mount the PSU, due to the way the screws are aligned.
HOWEVER....some cases, like my lian-li PC-60, have a removable PSU mount that (i think) allows you to insert the psu 'upside down'. i've never tried it becuase al of the PSU's i've had in it have had fans on the bottom
well if it fits and fans are point ok then its the right way. really not gonna effect it since you can mount it in different case different ways around
