Quick PSU question

I currently have a ThermalTake TR2 470w psu which is fine but would like to tidy up my case a bit so was thinking of changing to a modular psu and have seen an Antec NeoHE 430W Modular psu which is pretty reasonable. Now the thing is that it is a reduction in wattage but on the 12v rail its 16a rather than my current 14-15a, the 5v supply however is a fair bit lower on the antec than the thermaltake.

Just wondering if it would be a worthy swap as im not looking at going sli or anything in the near future and am running 2 hdd's and 1 dvd-rw drive and a 8800gt with a q6600 so wondering if i could cope with it all.

The Antec should be fine for what you want, a decent PSU from a decent brand.

take it you've had a go at tidying the cables with you're current psu?

unless you're cabling is really messy even after you've tried tidying it, i wouldnt bother.

Cheers for the quick replies, have tried tidying mine, the cables i am using are pretty tidy its just the mass of ones i dont use that are annoying me. Will have another go at some tidying i think as i have some ideas from some other threads i have seen on here now.
