Hi

b4 xmas I had a Logitech g7 and a rubbish keyboard but at xmas some one brought me the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000 Laser but did not won t to use the mouse the came with it (think it is a mx 1000) I wan t to use the keyboard and the g7 together but I can t because they use different software the keyboard use set point 2.60 Bluetooth and the g7 uses set point 3.10(http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2158,CONTENTID=10776)

Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse uses this: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1792,contentid=11013

And the keyboard uses this: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1796,contentid=11019

So can someone help me how can I make them work together?

Run both set points?

Otherwise there would be no way as one is bluetooth and the other is not, so you will have to use both mouse recievers anyways.

EDIT:

Seen post below. I am just assuming that your new set the keyboard and mouse are bluetooth

Just install the 3.10 version. It means that you'll be without your bluetooth hub (well, it does on my DiNovo set), but all the peripherals (mouse, keyboard and mediapad if you used it) will work fine.
