Quick Q about UK passports and the US

To goto the USA just purely for tourist purposes, what is the minimum time your must have left on your U.K Passport to get into the country? I'm asking this because i have under 8 months left on it so i would like to know.

I have looked on the US Immigration site but nothing to be found.

That should help.

Although if your passport is that old you need to check that it's machine readable or you'll be needing a visa anyway.

EDIT: 90 days if you're valid for the visa waiver scheme in case you can't be bovvered clicking the link.

Thanks people. It is machine readable, was just wondering if i needed to renew it.
