I see my reading says 'stepping B, revision GO'. Does that mean it is not a B3? I know the revision says GO, I just wanted to be sure. Thanks. :)

all so your Vcore looks a little hi for a 3.4ghz OC 1.552 is the top end of intell's guide

Yes, that's what I thought. Probably doesn't help me overclock it any higher with adequate stability. Tried quite a few settings but what with the obvious limitations, and there being an X48 board thrown in to the equation (which I originally thought were supposed to be good for clocking), I am inclined just to 'let it go' on this ageing platform. I'll most likely upgrade this year anyway. :)
