Hey all, currently running an E8400system and was looking to upgrade the CPU, Mobo, RAM and was looking at the current PSU staying and running this rig.

PSU is Corsair HX 620W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-620HXUK) (Bought in 2007, but been perfect).

Running:

Gigabyte Z77-D3H
Intel I5 3570K w/ uprated cooler (Recommendations please? to fit in an Akasa Eclipse)
16GB RAM (Any reccomendations)
2 x SSD
2 x 750 Samsung F1 750GB
nVidia geforce GTX 560 TI
Bitfenix Recon Fan Controler w/ 3 fans

Thanks :)

Just what i was hoping to see! Thanks :)

Any thoughts on the RAM/CPU cooler? Trying to keep the CPU/Mobo?RAM/Cooler under £300 but don't want to scrimp, too! :)

What will be the purpose of the PC? If gaming then 8GB is more than enough and the mobo has another 2 DIMM slots on top of that.

Also how much space is there between the motherboard and side panel in your case?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM £159.95
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £81.98
1 x BeQuiet Shadow Rock Pro CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366/AM2/AM2+/AM3) £32.99
1 x Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9) £29.99
Total : £304.91 (includes shipping : FREE).

The PC will be some gaming, some video work, lots of different stuff, but tbh after reading the thread the other day, I might just make a RAMDRIVE with the rest of it, tbh the prices right now are low enough that 16GB shouldn't break the bank!:)

Looks a good call though, BeQuiet shadow looks nice, although I was looking for something the size of a tower block for the :D factor!! hehe
