What would be the "best" choice of processor for a system built for labs using Hyper V, max 6-7 virtual machines , will have 32gb RAm + 480gb SSD

Wont be used in production environment, just for lab/proof of concept etc (SCCM+MDT)

There's not really a simple answer depends on what your doing and also server vs consumer platforms.

But in reality just get the best and newest gen you can afford.
