I've been considering upgrading my monitor and I've searched for info on upcoming 1440p ips products that have gsync, i don't seem to see anything on the horizon.

Are there any panels with 1440p ips/gysnc arriving anytime in the near future or are these tech incompatible, i want the res jump to 1440p and gsync but there only seems to be TN panels for sale atm.

thanks in advance :)

There's currently no G-sync screens which aren't based on TN film panels. That's because all the 120Hz+ panels are TN film with the exception of the Eizo Foris FG2421 (MVA based) which was released well before g-sync.

At some point we might see g-sync paired with the 144hz AHVA (IPS type) panel linked above. I've not see any news of any other new 120Hz VA type panels so unless someone pairs g-sync with the Sharp panel from the aforementioned Eizo screen, we probably won't have a massive selection of non TN Film models for quite some time.
