Just wondering what exactly Asus' A.I. Nap actually does.
I've got a P5K and E6750. BIOS detects CPU temp at about 17 to 19 dec C (idle). Obviously this is wrong and I understand it is a well-known issue, but this isn't what I'm asking about in this thread.
I'm just wondering whether it's "safe" to use A.I. Nap give the software thinks the CPU temp is 15 or 20 deg C colder than it actually is. I've noticed the fan speeds drop when I put it into a "nap".
