Quick question about cables that come with 360 Elite

Hello,

My friend just bought an Elite and he has it connected via Scart. I explained that this won't be giving him the best picture, but he can't find an HDMI or Component cable in the box. I had a look on the Wikipedia listing and it says the Elite now comes with a 'Hybrid' video cable.

What is this? Does this allow him to have an HD picture?

If not, will he need to buy an HDMI cable or Component cable?

The Elite now only comes with composite (standard definition). He'll have to shell out for HDMI.

How does one get spdif out of a new Elite when using HDMI?
Guessing they no longer come with the dongle?

You have to use the dongle that comes with microsoft's own (overpriced) HDMI cable. You could try using the regular AV cable for it while using HDMI, but I've never tried it personally.
