Hi there - I don't venture into this area of the forums often so please bear with me:

I've got two months left on the T Mobile contract for my blackberry - last week I entered into a new contract with Tesco/O2 for an I Phone. I'm thinking of recycling my old Blackberry and wonder if I can do this while it is still in contract? Would the IMEI number show this is in contract when I recycle? Or would a better option be to simply buy my way out of my old contract and pay off the two months subs first?

I just renewed a contract last month. The upgrade phone was swiftly sent to www.fonebank.com, along with the previous phone I got originally with the contract.

Both phones were used to help fund my Galaxy Nexus (Sim Free).

Fonebank seem to offer the best price, and they also accept brand new phones, for an increased price as well.

You've got nothing to worry about.

Phone is yours... you can sell, bury, etc it, even from day 1. The contract you'll have to keep and pay off...

This is 100% safe, they only check in the UK IMEI blacklist.

That's what I was wondering about - thanks :)

That's not a problem - I'm quite happy to pay the remaining contract time.

Thanks for all the replies guys :)
