i have finally fund out that the H50 will fit inside my case if the radiator is mounted at the front intake of my elite 342 case, with the radiator pipes at the top.

everything looks like it will be fine for when i purchase the thing in may, but i have one small problem, the air bubble.
the waterblock of the H50 is going to be the highest point of the cooler with my setup, so the air bubble will naturally float up to there and ruin the cooling. will this be a problem for me or not.

i have already contacted corsair and the OcUK mods, and they said they dont know.

Hi, my h50 was mounted rad pipes to the top of the 120mm fan hole, pipes on the pump also at the top on the mobo, never had any problems, make sure you use a PWR header as the pump needs 12v to function properly. ;)

The PWR headers are the non PWM controlled ones right?

My P67A-G45 has sysfan1 and sysfan2 which are PWM controlled and then there are 2 other fan headers (one being the CPUfan) but I believe only the cpu fan is PWM controlled leaving sysfan 3 as it pleases.

I head the ALC the H50 uses will beep anyway if it's not getting the power it needs so you will know if it's in the right header?

H50-1 arrived today btw so looking forward to installing it :D

was this in an elite 342 case? (or some other case where the rad can only be mounted below the cooler)

as for the pump thing, i was planning on using the 4 pin molex -> fan convertor my case came with, as my motherboard doesnt have any other power outlets for fans except the CPU fan
