Quick question about Gsync/Freesync

Trolling must mean something different to you than me. I'm just burning spam. I remember AMD saying 11 monitors had been announce and expected another 20 to be announced some time. I don't remember any chest banging or fairy tales....

Expected shipping dates was the end of Q1 and thought Q2 IIRC. I seem to remember someone from AMD saying review screens would hopefully be shipping in March some time. Maybe they have shipped...

No problem Jigger. ;) My comment exaggerated a bit how AMD and Samsung were "banging their chests..." :D The point I was trying to make that if Sammy and AMD did not "announce" March availability last Nov for the 4K freesync I probably would have ended up buying the regular one or a Gsync by now. I held back on my purchase because I thought this feature could be valuable at one point.

It is 100% sure that the new 4K monitors (Sammy) are finalised. Sammy has all the certifications in Korea and even trained sales people in Germany. This is why I was speculating (yes, speculating) that the delay must have to do something with the 4K. (I do not know ...)

BTW, apparently the assembly for Europe in Slovakia is also ready. Something is happening as the U28D590 is out of stock in multiple places now and new stock is delayed bit longer than usual.

Frankly, what does not help is that these companies are terrible when it comes to communicating with their customers.
