Quick question about H100

I bought a H100 the other day, and I also bought 2 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM 120mm fans. I've been told they would be a lot better then the stock fans, firstly is that true?

Also could I create a push/pull with the new fans and stock fans?

The scythe fans are better. so that is true.

To do a push pull I would have the scythes blowing into the rad from one side and the corsair fans pulling on the other.

Yeah thats the plan Stu, but the stock fans will be outside the case as there wouldnt be much room inside the case grrr. Only 1 day to go till my build log! Still pondering the 6950/570 issue. Installing these heatsinks, is it hard? I've never removed a backplate before

Backplate on the motherboard is just two or four screws and the plastic around the cpu comes away and the backplate falls off the rear, be prepared to catch it.

Sounds simple enough, I hope you are right with the mobo supporting IB. This system could end up really powerful

Also I forgot, there is no rear plate to take of a Z68 board, the comment above was for AMD boards.
