I have just installed a sound card which I want to use my AUX external speakers with, they work fine with it but I also want to be able to use my headphones at the same time, which are USB.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks:)

plug them in.

USB will use it's own soundcard and you will just have to switch default devices in sound options or at least switch selected sound device in game or w/e

I used to do this and have the voice through my headset and music etc on the speakers using a usb headset.

Think I have it working for now. Only other problem is, which I haven't tried with other games is that when I load Wildstar there is a really, really loud buzz/static sound through the speakers which doesn't happen when I quit Wildstar.

Could be EMI causing the problem. Graphic cards will chuck out far more EMI when they are working harder than when they are just displaying desktop. Assuming that is what is causing it, then there is not a great deal you can do without buying a sound card. EMI can affect sound cards too, but they generally have better shielding than onboard audio.

Yeah, the speakers are plugged into the sound card which arrived today. It's fine, just until I load Wildstar.
