My mate has his router in one part of his house - he has an ethernet port wired into the wall in another room which is wired through the house then plugged into a port in the router. Am I right in thinking that if he wanted to connect more than device to the ethernet port in the remote room all he'd need is a switch and the router would be fine with the fact that more than one device is connecting to it through the one port?
