Quick question about iPhone Apps

Hi,

Just wondering if old iPhone apps are compatible with the iPhone 4, or will some not work with the new phone/iOS 4?

I haven't got one so I can't answer you but on application updates I see 'now compatible with iPhone 4' so it may just be the higher resolution or for it just too work full stop.

They all work in my experience, most of the os4 updates are for some kinds of multitasking extension / resolution.

Go to AppStore on any iPhone find the app, scroll to the bottom, next to the version number and some apps say "iOS 4.0 tested". These app will deffo work on iPhone 4. All my apps work fine so far, regardless of the above.

They will all work. iPhone4 compliant ones just normally allow multi-tasking and higher resolution images.

Thanks for confirming Vegeta. There are a few older apps I've got my eye on for when I get an iPhone.

Drove an hour to the Bull Ring today after calling making sure they had stock. They had run out 10 minutes before I got there. Meh.
