quick question about NVMe drives and Linux

So, i'm deciding what bits to get for a new X99 system, and i'm thinking about getting a new M.2 boot drive.

I was thinking about the 950 pro at the current price, but as I'm wanting to dual boot Windows/Linux, I just thought i'd check that the NVMe drives will be ok for Linux (It'll be something recent like Fedora 23 or Mint 17.3, not certain yet).

Anyone have any experience of this conbination?
Thanks

I think kernels later than 3.3 have support enabled by default. This means you will want the NEXT Linux Mint (18) or Ubuntu (16) if you don't want to build it yourself.

You'll have to dig around a bit and see what others are doing.

That's what it says on nvmexpress.org.

That said i'm thinking of giving Fedora 23 a proper go rather than Mint and that's on 4.2. Can but run up a live version and see what it sees.
