I've decided to turn my screensaver off as it unnecessarily uses my graphic card when I'm not at my PC. My graphic card underclocks itself when it's not in use - similar to speedstepping, the screensaver is causing the card to run at 'full speed' generating unnecessary heat etc.
So I've decided to make the monitor go straight to standby after 10 minutes.
Will this affect PerfectDisk's screensaver autopilot schedule? Should I be using the "Blank" screensaver instead to ensure PerfectDisk runs?
