Quick question about RCA and mini-jack quality.

Hey guys just a quick question. Will be ordering some Audioengine A2's next week. I noticed they have both mini-jack and RCA connectors. My soundcard only has mini-jack.

My question is: Would it be better quality if i bought a decent mini-jack to RCA converter cable?

Or would it just be the same quality as its coming from mini-jack anyway?

Also say my soundcard had RCA outputs, would RCA to RCA be better than mini-jack to mini-jack in the first place?

RCA is usually better as it's more robust. I'd go with a 3.5mm jack to RCA cable as opposed to a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable.

there's no difference in audio quality, just RCA connectors are generally a bit more solid so will withstand knocks etc better
