Quick question about RMA

Hi, Just a quick question about the RMA process.

My cousin gave me his ATI 5770 and it has gone faulty, crashs constantly on desktop and drivers have to reset which is a nuisance. I also get some types of artifacting in games. I have already asked how to troubleshoot my problems but the card is definitely faulty.

So does my cousin have to setup the RMA because he was the one who purchased this card. Or can I do it myself as long as I have the e-mail invoice?

Would it also be best to supply images of the artifacting?

If your cousin registered the card it would be best that he handled the rma, may have to go through the shop that he bought it from or the manufacturer. Also a few pics included would be a good idea.
