What is that 'Temp2'? It's constantly at 58-60, whether idle or running Prime95's tests.

Quite possibly, my 4890's running at 975MHz. Doesn't change while I'm playing though, at least not outside of the second or so it takes to alt+tab back to desktop. Could it be a sensor on the board? I hear the X58M has no MOSFET cooling, dunno if that'd be logged in speedfan or not.

Click on the [config] box find that sensor and untick the checkbox and enjoy your life once more! :p

Speedfan picks up various rogue sensors, just keep the ones that you need and delete the rest . . .

[edit] are you using Speedfan to control your fanspeeds? . . . if not give HWMonitor a go for quick and simple feedback
