quick question about the intel chipset issue

Hi, with the Intel chipset issue affecting sata3 ports is it a good idea to unplug what is connected in to these ports and plug them in to sata6?

Will it affect the hardware if I keep them plugged in to sata3?

It's a asus p8p67 pro board

It won't affect the hardware.

You should avoid using the affected ports if you can, and use either 0,1 or additional ports the motherboard manufacturer has added in supplement to the chipset ports.
