hi there!

i currently use a rather old belkin usb dongle that i have had for years. used it on our last 5mb sky broadband just fine. We just moved in to our new home and now have much faster fibre optic connection.

I am basically wondering if i brought a more modern wireless card/adapter, would i see better results in terms of download speeds etc?

thanks

*my belkin is a N150 F6D4050 v1

I'd certainly suggest a 5Ghz capable PCI card (assuming your Router supports 5GHz) over a USB one. Having used a Belkin USB adaptor in the past it lost connection every few weeks and simply removing it and plugging it into a different USB port would bring it back instantly.
