What are the benifits from using distilled water to a fluid such as Fluid XP+. I would have thought Fluid XP+ would be better because it's designed for water cooling. Any thoughts??

Put simply, water has better heat transfer properties. Also the colour in those ready made fluids can gunk your blocks up.

I use just water, but Im intrigued about those new Thermochill coolants. Im gonna read up on them when its closer to redoing my loop.

I originally used Feser F1 coolant and after a few months found the CPU block to be a little clogged up, apparently from what I've read online the dye additive is to blame.

Now I just use distilled water+pt nuke.

Just use distilled water and a silver kill coil in your res, any couloured fluids have a tendancy to be overpriced and separate, clogging your blocks and staining.
