Hi all,

Just a quick question to make sure this is correct on my build...

I have this CPU cooler:

Zalman CNPS9700-LED CPU Cooler
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...LED CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)

The mobo i have is:
Asus Maximus Formula Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

The CPU cooler's bracket thats attached on the mobo only seems to go one way, while on my previous mobo used to be able to screw in differently, currently its quite hard to screw it in as you do have to push down hard for the screws to go in and attach. So i hope the way its screwed in is correct.

The thing i wanted to ask was, the position of the fan, i wanted to make sure it is correct.

Is it correct to have this CPU cooler on, so that the actual fan is facing the front of the case?

Thanks a lot!

make sure its blow air to the back exault fan. If you have Antec 900 upward, you can fit the fan blow up. And again make sure its not crash the NB HSF.

Thats correct if the fan is facing to the front of the case it will blow air through the rear case fans.
