quick question and help needed!!

does anyone know where the steam folder for the F12 screenshots might be found, i'm trying to upload some i took this morning but cant find them anywheres :S

As far as I'm aware it's not an innate facility in Steam, but dependant on the game. What is it you're playing?

the game is Test drive unlimited 2, been looking on google and through all my steam folders but nothing at all :S

Many steam games store settings in your documents folder, for example my Bad company profiles are stored under C:\Users\rick\Documents\BFBC2, and my Dragon Age screenshots are stored at C:\Users\Rick\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Screenshots

I've not got TDU2 so can't say for certain, but give that a try.

As far as I remember, you couldn't open screenshots from TDU1 on your computer, it had to be done through some god awful photo album thing in-game.. might be the same... dunno.

It's stored in your userdata folder under the ID for a game.

..\Steam\userdata\<User ID>\760\remote\<Game ID>\screenshots

Quickest way to find the Game ID is to look at it's store URL, it'll mostly be right apart from games that have more than one shortcut on Steam.

So as an example....

TF2 store url said:
Steam Store

Steam is the ultimate destination for playing, discussing, and creating games.

store.steampowered.com
