Unless it was going to cost you next to nothing or you really needed the extra VRAM I would say no. Maybe wait for lower end next gen cards to launch and re-evaluate.
OK what do you suggest been a while since I researched an CPU upgrade?
5800x3d if you want the 'best of the best' as it currently stands without having to change anything else or look in the MM as you could pick a 5800x or 5900x up for a good price.
