There are two RTX Pro 4500 Blackwell 32GB cards for sale on OCUK right now:

There's a £400 difference in price between them but they seem the same to me. I might buy one so I hope I haven't clued OCUK into some massive oversight on their part! :D

But I doubt it - seriously, what is the difference between these two cards?

They are the same, just the price ..One may say Nvidia and one PNY , but PNY makes all the Nvidia pro cards anyways for Nvidia, just a different box.

Go check the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition 96GB GDDR7 Graphics Card and the £1000 difference between them on OCUK and again same cards. Then go check the RRP price on a NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition 96GB GDDR7 Graphics Card and my work grabbed some recently for just under £6000 each (OEM packaging/Brown Box, USA stock).. so I'm guessing either that new retail boxed stocks price has gone up or retailers are pulling prices out of a hat at what they think they can sell them for.

It's all gone mad regarding pricing of GPUs, Memory and Storage currently and then the strange gouging being done by some retailers, business self suicide and we saw what happened to a large pc components retailer recently that went out of business because of their gouging that took place around COVID time till they went belly up a few months back. I don't get it really why a retailer would risk their reputation or loss of their loyal customers with such behaviour, when it is so easy to do price checks online and people will of course shop at the best priced place in the end.

Thank you very much for that. Then I'm not mad, after all. Just the world.

The 6000 is outside of my budget (plus I might need a new PSU for that), but I'm weighing up between the 4500 and the 5000. I'd better get a move on then whilst there's still this weird double-pricing. Kind of - I'd sooner ride it out and wait till prices are sane again but who knows when that will be and I kind of need it sooner rather than later. Unfortunately can't grab it until it's cleared next week.
