Quick question: Do I use 12.11 CAPs with 13.3 Drivers?

I've just updated my drivers from 13.1 to 13.3 Beta 3 as the 13.1's wouldn't work with Sony Vegas. But, I get high GPU usage spikes when idle, which causes coil whine and it is rather annoying. So, I uninstalled the application profiles and this has sorted the problem. Do I even need the application profiles anymore or is it built in to the driver, is this what was causing the problem possibly?

In short, do I use 12.11 application profiles with 13.3 BETA 3 drivers?

CAPS are built in to the new drivers so no need to install them.

l never use Beta's as some time's they work other time's not, so l just use the WHQL Driver's.

Ah ok thanks, but after 10 mins of the coil whine not occurring I thought it had gone, as it usually happens once a minute or so.
But just as I posted this, it came back. This is what my usage looks like, and at every spike I get coil whine. This doesn't happen on 13.1's, but neither does Sony Vegas so I'm stuck a bit here

The spikes occur from sitting on the desktop to just browsing the forums.
Any ideas?

Mine does the same. Its something to with low power usage im guessing
