Quick question for old Xbox games for Xbox 360

Having been a PS2 owner for a long time I was just wondering if old Xbox games had unlockable achievements much like the Xbox 360 games?

The basics to the question is will I get gamer points by playing old Xbox games?
 
Which is somewhat of a shame as there are loads of Xbox games I want to play but just can't get interested enough - like KotoR, Psychonauts, Ninja Gaiden Black. I'm sure if there were achievements for going through the game, I would be playing them in a shot.
 
KoToR + Ninja Gaiden are possibly the 2 best games in existance, the achievement is simply playing the, do it now - dont deny yourself some of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have

(p.S at first i hated KoToR, but when you get into it, OMG)

I play KoToR on the PC and it is a gripping, awesome game. If you only play games for achievements then you are missing out on a large selection of fine games from the previous generation.

I feel the same way, if there are no gamerpoints to acheive then I have no urge to play the game.

I mean seriously... gamerpoints????

I don't get it. If you're mad gamers at least I could understand that part, I suppose!! gamers.. points.. (well no I still don't get it) but that wouldn't make sense as they are without doubt two of the best, most enjoyable games out there. Along with PGR I'd say THE best games of the Xbox generation.

I can just imagine you two sitting there for hours on end sitting through hours of garbage games just for a few points... :p true madness.
 
i agree with some people on this thread. The gamerpoints are a HUGE incentive for me to play 360 games. Not because my gamerscore means anything to me, but simply because its nice to have goals in games other than "complete it", and the game doesn't feel truly finished until you have as many of the achievements as possible. Achievement points are one of the best inventions ever :)

I just meant that's what that kind of mentality could lead to...

"Want to play PES11 Mr.Male?"
"nah it's got no gamerpoints, FIFA 07 does though"

:p ;)
