Quick question for you motors fellamelads

Is there a way to search for a numberplate, to see if it's valid basically, without coughing up a fee?

Wanted to know if "KN08 HED" is A. a valid plate and B. what car is it on?

Think I know the answer to A. already - no, as I though DVLA don't allow plates to spell anything rude :confused:

I dont know but ive also wondered about that plate. It was the best 08 one I could come up with.

i thought U-R-04 NOB was pretty offensive but its listed on the dvla website
