I currently have Cable through Blueyonder broadband/ Virgin Media.

I have a Linksys WRT54GS which is wired to my PC. My Xbox is also hard wired to the router. Mrsyoustolemyname currently connects to the wireless network via her laptop.

However, we are in the process of moving into a new place and require a new ISP. We cannot get Cable so have to get ADSL, rendering my WRT54GS useless....or does it?

Can I connect my Xbox and a printer that she has to the WRT54GS and just use it to connect to the new wireless network that I will set up using the router that comes with my ADSL package (Be* Here Internet) or do I need to buy something else?

Thanks in advance for any help guys :)

Yup - though you'll need to disable DHCP on one of the routers, and connecting the two by their LAN ports (rather than replacing the cable modem connected to the WAN interface with the router) would save hassle.

It's quite likely that the wireless router supplied willl have four LAN ports so you may only need the Linksys to provide more ports.

The supplied router will be in one room, the linksys router will be in our lounge to connect the xbox and another printer to the network. I just don't know if the linksys router will allow me to connect the xbox or printer to the network that the adsl router will be creating?

Do I need to buy a wireless bridge or will the linksys act as one?

So you want to connect the Linksys to the other router wirelessly?
The GS should do bridged wireless client mode, especially if it's an older version that will take third-party firmware.

If you connect it the way I suggest, it'll just be acting as a switch, so won't care.
