What's the HDD footprint of a Windows XP SP2 32bit install?
I can't get Sky Player to work on my Vista x64, so am resorting to doing a dual boot. I have a spare ancient 2GB HDD knocking around, should that suffice?
It will just be Sky Player installed on there and nothing else.

If you are going to put the drive in as a 2nd drive and install xp it will prolly trash your vista boot sector so you will have to put that back to boot vista again.

XP should squeeze into 2gb, I installed a eepc at the weekend that had 2.3gb free of 4gb once xp was installed, updates will use a load of space you might need to compress some rubbish and remove the uninstall directories once its finished.. infact it did run out of space while windows updating so be prepeired to clear out some stuff!

Well I got it all installed etc, but the poxy sky player doesn't recognise that I've got the full package + multiroom, so the bloody live sky sports streaming won't work!!
Object defeated, what a waste of an evening!
