Quick question, monsoon compression fittings

Hello, just a quick question regarding the o rings on these fittings

What's the deal it's the supplied o rings? I know I need them over the threads, but do I need them over the barb too? I can't find any info at all.

I'm doing my first loop and I'm a bit of a noob, not to mention absolutely no documentation from monsoon has left me feeling a wee bit unsure.

It was just because there were 2 sets in the box and it threw me off. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for your reply btw, been leak testing for a bit now and all seems well so far
