In preparation for my 1070 arriving tomorrow, I updated the BIOS on my trusty P67a-GD65, which of course wiped my OC which I've had running since I built the thing in Feb 2011.

Having not looked at this for a while, I've put the OC back to 4.4Ghz as best as I could, however a quick Prime test shows that under full load on all cores the multiplier is being lowered to 40-43 dynamically, rather than hitting 44.

Under low load it jumps to 4.4 no problem. Is there a setting that I'm perhaps missing? I've never seen full load not hit the max multiplier before.

Temps are fine btw, around 51-58c under load.

It seems that it may have been the wattage power limit settings.

I've not seen these before as they weren't in the old BIOS, but I increased both short and long wattage to 150w and it seems to hold the OC now under load.

Votlage is reported in CPUID as 1.312 - I left this set to auto in the BIOS - too high for 4.4?
