Got a 980GTX coming next week. Never actually occurred to me to check whether my current PSU got enough kick to power this thing. Spec is;

8320 at stock
8gb RAM
600 OCZ PSU

Currently have an 7950 I clock now and again and never had any issues.

Should the PSU be alright?

As long as you don't have the Evostream which was a awful psu and would be overdue a replacement by now anyway, you should be fine. Even the worst of the OCZ 600w units had 480w on the 12v rail and the GTX900 series cards are incredibly efficient. There were 5 different model 600w units. They were the:-

ModXstream pro 600w (OCZ600MXSP) 504w across dual 25A 12v rails.
StealthXStream 600w (OCZ600SXS) 580w across quad 18A 12v rails.
StealthXStream 2 600w (OCZ600SXS2) 600w across quad 18A 12v rails.
GameXStream 600w (OCZ600GXS) 580w across quad 18A 12v rails.
Evostream 600w (OCZ600EVO SLI) 480w across quad 15A 12v rails. If it's this one replace it as it's a very poor unit and is also quite old now.

Just copied it from my OCUK order from 2010;

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply

crazy to think I bought this just over 5 years ago (£49) and it's still dead silent and running as strong as day 1. Been through about 5 graphics cards and 3 CPUs, which is a slow month for some posters here I suppose.

Should be good enough?
