Just took delivery of my shiny new MSI 980Ti Gaming. I also ordered an EVGA G2 750W to give me a bigger power reserve for the future. I'm giving my dad the old one to replace a dodgy old OCZ unit.

I currently have a Seasonic 550W G series fitted but in order to change it, it will involve stripping the machine down. I can fit the card tonight easily enough, but to swap PSUs will be a weekend job!

Is my current PSU sufficient to run the new card until I have time to swap to the new PSU at the weekend?

The Seasonic is a high quality unit with 540w on a single 12v rail and more than enough for your new card. I would expect your pc to pull around 350w at the wall. A modern, quality 550w psu is enough to run most, if not all, single gpu cards today.

Cheers for that! I plan on swapping PSUs at the weekend, but I'd like to get the card in tonight if possible without having to mess with my cabling setup.
