Quick Question on my nearly 1 year old 360

It's having problems. It keeps giving me disc read errors on almost every game at random intervals. It's totally destroying the experience for me.

Now, do I take it back the high street shop I got between Xmas and new year last year? Will thye replace it with it being in it's 1st year still? What are my rights on this? As if I send back to Microsoft now I won't have a 360 over xmas

Swap it over just in case.

If its in the first year, take it back now.
They should swap it there and then. If you've got the receipt

And you might get one of the new systems.

yep take it back, if they get funny tell them that they are going to upset "insert random person here" on xmas day as they have a lot of xbox360 games under the xmas tree. If they don't kick down the xmas tree on the way out screaming "scrooge"

If you bought it from a highstreet retailer definately definately take it back and say you have the 3ROD error. They'll do you a swap on the spot.

I went in after work and they said that it would be fine if I just bring in just the console itself and they will swap it over no quibbles as I still have the receipt (hopefull in the box still, not checked yet.)

I just turned it on now and it red ringed. Shame, it almost made it to 1 years old, that's a good innings anyway for a 360 i take it?
