Hey, i'm not so much of a whizkid when it comes to computer components etc (although i like to think i am learning slowly). My question is though, i'm looking to upgrade my Radeon Hd6870 graphics card to https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-098-GI

and as i currently only have a 500w PSU i will also need to upgrade that and i'm wondering if http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-095-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084 will be a good enough purchase.

I don't plan to use 2 Graphics cards so i think that these should work together well. The rest of my specs for my computer are as followed:

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 2300 @ 2.80GHz 40 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASRock H61M-VS (CPUSocket) 36 °C
Graphics
SA300/SA350 (1920x1080@60Hz)
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (XFX Pine Group)
Hard Drives
466GB Seagate ST500DM002-1BC142 ATA Device (SATA) 30 °C
Optical Drives
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-222AB ATA Device
ELBY CLONEDRIVE SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
VIA High Definition Audio

Thank you.

Not sure how old your psu is (their efficiency does degrade over time) but the one that you have posted about will give you plenty of headroom so to speak.
