Quick question on pci-e/molex

Do you have to use 2x molex plugs to connect a pci-e power plug up?

Or does the 2nd act as a pass through?

I've always just used 1 and never really given it much thought until now :p
 
If its got 2x connectors for 2x molex's to be plugged in then its best to use 2x, i know my GTS came with a PCI-E 6x Pin adapter that had 2x molex connectors so i plugged 2x in, but my old x1800's 6x Pin adapter had a pass through, so when i had that in, i just had a case fan connected to the pass through. :)
